Role Description
This is a part-time remote internship role in Math and Computing at Waltcorp. The intern will work on applying mathematical concepts such as linear algebra and calculus, developing projects utilizing MATLAB and Python, and exploring data science (DS) and machine learning (ML) methodologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing algorithms, analyzing datasets, implementing machine learning models, collaborating with team members remotely, and contributing to innovative computational tools and solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mathematics, including Linear Algebra and Calculus
- Experience in Python and MATLAB for computational and programming tasks
- Familiarity with Machine Learning (ML) and Data Science (DS) concepts
- Skilled in Mathematics Education, Lesson Planning, and Curriculum Development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment
- Passion for solving complex problems and an aptitude for analytical thinking
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
