🎯 Role Mission
To help children think mathematically, not just perform mathematically.
You will work closely with:
• Gifted learners who need depth and challenge
• 2E learners who need flexibility and alternative pathways

🧠 What You’ll Do
1. Make Math Real & Applied
• Teach concepts through:
• Real-world scenarios
• Projects and simulations
• Example:
• Fractions → baking
• Ratios → pricing a product
• Geometry → designing in maker space

2. Personalize Learning for 2E & Gifted Learners
• Adapt teaching based on:
• Child’s learning style
• Cognitive profile
• Strength areas
• You will:
• Stretch gifted learners with deeper challenges
• Support 2E learners with alternate ways of understanding
👉 The same concept may be taught differently to each child.

3. Integrate Across SPOT Studios
Math at SPOT is not taught in isolation.
You will collaborate with:
• 🛠️ Maker Studio → measurement, scaling, design
• 💼 Business Studio → cost, pricing, profit
• 💻 AI Studio → logic, data, patterns

4. Build Skill-Based Learning Systems
• Design:
• Rubrics for problem solving
• Skill trackers (aligned to SPOT M&E / Skills Builder)
• Track:
• Conceptual understanding
• Application ability
• Logical reasoning

5. Support IGCSE & NIOS Pathways
• Guide learners through:
• IGCSE Mathematics
• NIOS Mathematics
👉 While maintaining:
• Concept-first learning
• No rote or tuition-style teaching

🧩 What We’re Looking For
Must-have:
• Strong conceptual understanding of middle + high school math
• Ability to explain concepts in multiple ways
• Comfort working with gifted and 2E learners

• Experience in:
• Alternative education / PBL environments
• Olympiad / logical reasoning
• Exposure to:
• Financial literacy
• Data & statistics
