Role Description The Material Management Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based at Hpcl Mumbai Refinery in Mumbai. This role oversees day-to-day materials and inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, tracking material movement, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production. Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement and production teams, updating material records in relevant systems, and maintaining accurate documentation for audits and compliance. The executive will analyze usage patterns, optimize reorder levels, and support production planning by aligning material availability with operational schedules. The role also involves identifying process improvements in material handling, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and preparing regular reports for management.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Materials Management and Inventory Management skills to handle stock levels, material flow, and storage processes.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Control and Production Planning skills to support efficient operations and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements in material utilization and planning.
- Experience in refinery, manufacturing, or industrial environments, with knowledge of ERP or inventory management software, is beneficial.
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential.
- Familiarity with safety standards, compliance requirements, and basic logistics principles will be an added advantage.
