Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Materials Engineer with strong expertise in advanced materials synthesis, characterization, and applications in RF systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing high-entropy oxides, perovskites, and dielectric materials, with proven ability to optimize materials. This role involves both research and practical implementation, bridging fundamental science with engineering design.
Key Responsibilities
- Materials Development & Synthesis
- Design and synthesize advanced materials including high-entropy spinel oxides, perovskites, and tantalum-based compounds.
- Employ solution-combustion, solvent-deficient, and vaporization-condensation methods for nanomaterial fabrication.
- Optimize synthesis parameters to achieve high-density, phase-pure materials with tailored dielectric and catalytic properties.
- Characterization & Analysis
- Conduct structural, thermal, and functional characterization using XRD, SEM, XPS, AFM, DSC, TGA, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and dielectric assessment kits.
- Analyze microstructural and compositional properties to correlate with performance in microwave and electrochemical applications.
- Application Development
- Translate laboratory-scale materials into functional prototypes for industrial applications.
- Research & Innovation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate materials into device-level applications.
Qualifications
- M.S in Materials Engineering, Materials Science or Physics
Technical Skills
- Characterization Tools: XRD, SEM, XPS, AFM, DSC, TGA, LFA, UV-Vis spectroscopy, Electrochemical Workstation.
- Software & Tools: Origin, X’Pert HighScore, Microsoft Office, AfterMath.
- Fabrication Techniques: Conventional sintering, laser engraving, solution-combustion synthesis.
