Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai for a Material Sourcing Executive. The role involves identifying and procuring materials, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities, coordinating with the procurement team, and ensuring the timely delivery of quality materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers and vendors
- Support sourcing strategy execution
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Manage purchase orders and procurement tracking
- Maintain and improve vendor relationships
Qualification:
- B.E (non mechanical / Civil) / B.Tech in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sourcing / procurement / supply chain
