Note from the Founders on the role
Hi, I'm Sarthak, Co-founder of Material Depot. I'm excited to find someone who would take overall responsibility for the customer success team at Material Depot. The person would work closely with the marketing and sales team on all initiatives as well as BAUs activities. The role would involve 20% data analysis and strategy, 80% operations; and will have 100% ownership of the KPIs assigned.

What you will do:
- Lead Qualification: Ensure potential clients via phone, emails etc., engage in meaningful conversations, and determine interest to qualify those leads.
- Collaborate with the sales team to transfer effectively the leads along with context, and other necessary information for a seamless transition.
- Target Achievement: Ensure strict alignment to the company’s goals and assist in achieving maximum results, and achieve all individual targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Devise effective communication strategies and maintain detailed records of interactions. Engage across communication channels to effectively queries and doubts
- Product Knowledge: Continuously read and learn about new products and improve understanding of company’s products for effective information dissemination.
- Feedback and Improvement: Provide feedback to the marketing and sales teams on the quality of leads and prospect engagement
- Reporting: Periodically and proactively collect, collate, and present customer feedback and analysis for improvement to all relevant stakeholders
- Query and dispute resolution through SLAs: Ensure strict adherence to SLAs for answering and resolving customer queries and concerns across different channels
You’re a good fit for this only if...
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered
- Proven experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role. (Experience in home, interiors, construction, furniture or allied industries earn brownie points)
- Excellent communication, verbal and written with the ability to engage customers and convey complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with potential customers.
- Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving targets and deadlines.
- You’re open to being a generalist and adapting to the uncertainty of early-stage startups. Strong ability to deal with ambiguity and problem-solve for aspects that you or the team may encounter the first time or are not familiar with.
- You bring your own unique skill set to the table and collaborate with others to accomplish your team’s goals.
- You experiment, test, try, fail, and learn continuously.
- You can work 50-60 hours, 6 days a week
