Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Mastercam Programmer for a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The individual will be responsible for creating and editing CNC programs using Mastercam to produce high-tolerance components. Day-to-day tasks will include interpreting technical drawings, setting up and operating CNC machines, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with the engineering team to optimize machining processes. The programmer will also be tasked with maintaining accuracy and efficiency to meet tight project deadlines.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of machining principles, CNC operations, and Mastercam software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is beneficial
- Technical diploma or certification in a relevant field, such as Mechanical Engineering or CNC Programming
