<strong>About Us<br></strong>On N On Community Child Care provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children and families in the Springfield community. We are seeking a reliable and organized <strong>Site Coordinator</strong> who is passionate about working with children and supporting daily program operations.<br><br>
</div><div>The Site Coordinator plays an important leadership role in supervising staff, supporting students, maintaining program quality, and ensuring compliance with EEC regulations and company policies.</div><div><br></div><div>
<strong>Responsibilities<br></strong><br>
</div><div><strong>Program Operations & Supervision</strong></div><ul>
<li>Work closely with the Program Administrator / Director to supervise daily program operations </li>
<li>Train, guide, and supervise group leaders and staff members </li>
<li>Support a safe, positive, and organized environment for students and staff </li>
<li>Assist with student arrival, dismissal, attendance, and daily routines </li>
<li>Create and manage program schedules for after school, summer, and full-day programs </li>
<li>Draft regular staffing schedules and adjust coverage for vacations, absences, and sick days </li>
<li>Submit staffing schedules to the HR Department every other Tuesday for review and approval </li>
</ul><div><strong>Staff Management & Meetings</strong></div><ul>
<li>Complete staff observation forms and submit them to HR on time </li>
<li>Support quarterly professional development planning </li>
<li>Attend supervisor meetings and lead weekly staff meetings </li>
<li>Participate in interviews for new hires as needed </li>
</ul><div><strong>Safety, Documentation & Compliance</strong></div><ul>
<li>Create, post, and maintain daily schedules and routines </li>
<li>Ensure fire drill procedures and documentation are completed properly </li>
<li>Collaborate with staff to complete injury reports, incident reports, and related journals </li>
<li>Ensure compliance with EEC regulations, company policies, and safety procedures </li>
<li>Monitor student absences, contact parents daily as needed, and submit attendance follow-up records weekly </li>
</ul><div><strong>HR Administrative Support</strong></div><ul>
<li>Assist with hiring processes, including reference checks, interviews, BRC submissions, onboarding, and initial staff training </li>
<li>Provide general HR administrative support, including paperwork, documentation, and file management </li>
<li>Maintain and follow up on the EEC Staff Records Checklist to ensure staff credentials and required trainings remain current </li>
</ul><div><strong>Administrative & Other Duties</strong></div><ul>
<li>Maintain professional communication with parents, staff, schools, and supervisors </li>
<li>Ensure accurate timekeeping, including commute timecards when required </li>
<li>Be punctual and dependable for scheduled work hours </li>
<li>Perform other related duties as assigned </li>
</ul><div><strong>Requirements</strong></div><ul>
<li>Must be at least 20 years of age </li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li>
<li>Must meet Massachusetts EEC qualifications for a Site Coordinator position (education and experience requirements vary based on degree and prior experience with school-age children) </li>
<li>Experience working with school-age children required </li>
<li>Leadership or supervisory experience preferred </li>
<li>Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills </li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced child care environment </li>
<li>Basic computer and Google Drive skills required </li>
<li>Must successfully complete the EEC Background Record Check (BRC) </li>
<li>Completion of required EEC trainings and certifications, including EEC Essentials and First Aid/CPR, is required </li>
<li>7D license or interest in obtaining a 7D license is a plus </li>
