Role Description
The Master Crew Boat role is a full-time, on-site position based in India. The individual in this role will oversee the operations and navigation of crew boats, ensuring the safety of the crew, vessel, and cargo. Responsibilities include planning and managing voyages, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, supervising onboard personnel, and maintaining communication with relevant authorities. The role requires effective leadership and decision-making abilities to ensure efficient vessel operations.
Qualifications
- Strong navigation and vessel operation skills, with a focus on safety and compliance
- Proven ability to manage and supervise onboard crew, ensuring high performance and adherence to protocols
- Experience in voyage planning, maritime regulations, and emergency response procedures
- Effective leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Possession of necessary maritime certifications and licenses as per industry standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with onshore and offshore teams
- Previous experience in a similar role is a strong advantage
