Role Description

The positions of Master, CO (Chief Officer), CE (Chief Engineer), and 2E (Second Engineer) within MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company. Responsibilities include overseeing vessel operations, ensuring compliance with international maritime standards, supervising crew operations, managing engine and navigation systems, and maintaining vessel safety. Effective communication and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams will be key for facilitating smooth operations and addressing any technical or operational challenges during voyages.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management skills for overseeing crew operations and ensuring teamwork in a maritime environment
• Strong knowledge of international maritime compliance, safety regulations, and vessel maintenance
• Proficiency in navigation systems, marine engineering, and technical equipment management
• Problem-solving skills and an ability to respond effectively to operational challenges
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse crew and stakeholders
• Valid licensure and certifications relevant to the position: Master's License for Master role, Chief Officer License for CO, Chief Engineer License for CE, and Second Engineer License for 2E
• Prior experience in a similar maritime role is required.
