Chair in Dairy Materials Science and Technology

Massey University is seeking to appoint a Chair in Dairy Materials Science and Technology based in the School of Food and Advanced Technology at the Manawatū campus in Palmerston North, New Zealand. The Chair will contribute to the development and implementation of the research, teaching and engagement strategies in dairy materials science and technology within the School and will provide strategic leadership and vision in this field. The successful candidate will: - Have an outstanding international reputation and track record in dairy materials science and technology or a closely related field, with a substantial body of high-quality publications, patents, and/or other research and development outputs - Demonstrate exceptional leadership and management skills, including the ability to build and lead research teams - Contribute to the development and implementation of the School's research, teaching, and engagement strategies, and provide strategic vision and direction - Have proven success in attracting significant external research funding from competitive sources - Contribute to the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision of students - Actively engage with industry and other stakeholders to translate research outcomes into practical applications
