Core Manager, BioMicro Center

The MIT BioMicro Center and Koch Institute Genomics Core, to join a highly collaborative team supporting a broad range of biological research projects in basic and applied biology; focus on coordinating the day-to-day operations of the experimental laboratory, oversee the training of technical personnel and researchers on advanced techniques and methods, and be responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of data production; and collaborate with the Director in evaluating and adoptingtechnologies and ensuring that the Center remains at the cutting edge of technology. The MIT BioMicro Center / Koch Institute Genomics Core provides support and training for researchers in over 100 labs across multiple departments and centers. As such, the ability to understand a broad variety of biological questions and be familiar with adapting existing methodologies to new biological areas will be critical to the success.
