Job Description & Responsibilities
The Junior-Level Data Analyst will support departments across the Savings Bank by collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to information. This role is ideal for someone with strong critical thinking skills, a passion for solving problems with data, and a desire to learn and grow in a mission-driven financial institution.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering, organizing, and cleaning data from core banking systems, CRM platforms, and internal reports
- Create mapping and reference tables in Excel
- Create and maintaining SQL Server tables
- Open, track, and maintain helpdesk tickets
- Create Arka Ticket (Data warehouse provider) for data management and support
- Create visualizations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Support the development of recurring and ad hoc reports
- Work with business units to understand data needs and translate into analytical solutions
- Document opportunities for data process improvement
- Maintain documentation for data sources, reporting procedures, and data definitions
- Collaborate with others to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics or Computer Science
- Internship, academic projects, or 2–3 years of experience in a data-related role
- Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups) and SQL or data querying tools
- Experience or exposure to data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Experience with Report Builder
- Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle Database
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to learn financial services data systems and business processes
- Familiarity with financial institution terminology and reporting (e.g., loans, deposits, delinquency rates)
- Knowledge of basic statistics or data modeling concepts is preferred
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis is preferred
