Quality Assurance Analyst

Mascoma Technologies is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst who is responsible for designing test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures, as well as creating and executing the test plans and test cases. Additionally, leading functional, performance, and regression testing. The QA Analyst will collaborate with peers to manage, schedule, and organize testing activities needed to deliver the quality products required by Mascoma Technologies. Essential Functions of Position Participate in team planning sessions concerning creation or modification of products. Collaborate with product management, software development, stakeholders, implementation, and support teams. Lead functional, performance, and regression testing efforts. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. Reporting defects and tracking resolution. Use a variety of testing tools and techniques, including manual and automated testing, to identify and report software defects. Work to ensure that software products meet established quality standards and compliance requirements. Participate in team hikes/project retros. Give and receive feedback and suggestions in a respectful and team-oriented manner. Will be involved in code reviews, performance testing, and documentation review to ensure that software products meet quality and usability standards.
