Job Responsibilities:
This position requires availability prior to semester courses beginning and post semester in order to:
- Prepare donor lab for cadaver transfer to and from the supplier.
- Work with faculty and tutors on dissection of cadavers for prosected lab sessions.
- Maintain order and cleaning of donor lab areas.
- Assist faculty in preparing for lab practicals both in donor and technology labs.
- Assist faculty in preparing class learning materials.
- Organize and in from faculty and program director of any supply needs.
- Mentor tutors on how to facilitate learning by students enrolled in the courses.
- Observe tutoring sessions of the PT program and provide feedback.
- Develop a tracking process for tasks done in tutor sessions for continuity and updates for future tutors.
- Assist faculty, curriculum chair, and program director to update course information in the curriculum database and retrieve information as required by CAPTE.

At the end of the Graduate Assistantship, the student should have or be able to:
- Obtain enhanced knowledge of DPT curriculum development and accreditation requirements.
- Identify the domain of learning for curricular objectives according to Bloom’s Taxonomy.
- Develop communication skills both oral, written and use of technology.
- Develop management skills through responsible for assessing lab equipment and lab supplies, and identifying additional needs to implement correct storage of supplies and management of the current inventory spreadsheet.
- Enhance interpersonal collaboration skills across cohorts, faculty, and health professionals.
Students will develop in PT Program Outcomes as:
- Self-Reflection practioners related to communication across cultures/age, use of logical decision making and interpretation.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Effective communication in the handling of program and crisis management.
- Acceptance into the DPT Graduate Program at Maryville University
Preferred Qualifications
- Student in year 5 or 6 of the Graduate Program
Physical Demands
- Moderate physical exertion that includes significant walking, lifting, and moving cadavers and lab equipment
Skills Required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Knowledge of upper level DPT curriculum
- Comfort in manual skills as needed for the dissection in the donor lab take ownership of the organization of both PT labs.
Stipend for the academic year: $1500
