Title: Material Service Operator

Required Shift:

12 Hour Rotating Shift

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday

Job Purpose:

The scope of the Material Service Operator is to handle all raw/packaging materials from receiving to the pouring of the ingredients into bins (this includes both fine meals and liquids.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must meet time in role (12+ months. Internal Associates Only.)

  • Must have approval from line manager to apply (Internal Associates Only.)

  • Must currently be in good standing (Internal Associates Only.)

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment

  • Forklift operation experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)

  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling and gripping

  • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces

  • Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).

  • Ability to read, write and speak English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or certifications

  • 2+ years of experience operating and maintaining high-speed production machinery in a manufacturing/production environment

  • Computer software experience (Example: SAP, Inventory Systems)

What will be your Key Responsibilities?

  • Manufacturing Production focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment.

  • Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.

  • Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods.

  • Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.

  • Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.

  • Operate a pallet jack to move pallets of combos to multiple locations on the line.

  • Conducting end-of-run counts on raw materials and month-end inventories.

  • Participate and adhere to all food safety requirements, Quality Management Processes, and site safety programs ensuring that all standards are met.
