Director, Quality Engineering

Director - Quality Engineering– Bethesda, MD Responsibilities: Translate business and technology requirements into quality engineering strategies and solutions that enable quality, agility and innovation. Lead a team of quality engineering professionals to develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and testing strategies, including test automation, performance testing, etc. Implement processes, tools and techniques to improve software quality, reduce risk and ensure a positive customer experience. Work closely with engineering, product, and other key stakeholders to drive quality engineering initiatives and continuously improve testing capabilities. Analyze quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate actions. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies/methodologies in quality engineering and drive their adoption. Requirements: Strong background in software quality engineering and management, with 8+ years of experience. Experience leading a team of quality professionals and driving transformational initiatives. Exposure to agile development methodologies and DevOps practices. Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
