About the role

MarketWise Publishing Group is aggressively growing its in-house marketing team. To assist with the growth, we are looking to hire a bright, energetic, hardworking and intellectually curious digital media buyer.

This is a highly visible opportunity to take an important role in growing our subscriber base. This role will work closely with our existing team of online marketers and copywriters in a fast-paced, fun, and rewarding environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive digital media buying experience, a well-rounded marketing background, strong analytical abilities, and a desire to learn and continue to grow as a marketer.

Key Responsibilities:

Set-up, launch, and manage external marketing campaigns across different self-serve advertising platforms
Continuously test, optimize, and scale campaigns using data-driven insights
Own performance metrics, reporting, and optimization to consistently improve ROI and outcomes
Work closely with copywriters to generate and test new top-of-funnel ideas.
Work collaboratively with other marketers and media buyers to meet customer acquisition goals

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience managing self-serve digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, YouTube, Meta Ads, Criteo, Taboola and more)
Good understanding of the direct response space
Must be familiar with campaign KPIs – CTRs, CPA, CPC, CPM, etc.
Goal-driven with a focus on analytics and data
Experience in various digital marketing roles with demonstrable results
Strong creative instincts and a passion for testing and optimizing
Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills
Must be proactive in getting projects started and following them to completion
The ability to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently is a must
Experience using AI creative tools to generate video and image ads is a plus
An interest in personal finance and investing is a plus, but not required
