With a strong presence across Amazon US and international markets, we are building a high-impact marketplace growth engine as a core revenue driver for the business.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a Head of Marketplace Growth to own and scale our Amazon and marketplace business globally.
This is not a functional role focused only on campaigns or operations. You will be responsible for end-to-end marketplace P&L, driving both revenue growth and profitability while building scalable systems for long-term expansion.
You will operate as a business owner, working closely with founders and cross-functional teams to take the marketplace business to the next stage of growth.
Key Responsibilities1. Marketplace P&L Ownership
• Own revenue, contribution margins, and overall performance across marketplaces
• Build and manage forecasts across SKUs, geographies, and channels
• Identify new growth opportunities across products and markets
2. Growth Strategy & Scaling
• Define and execute marketplace growth roadmap
• Drive SKU-level growth through pricing, bundling, and positioning
• Build repeatable playbooks for scaling products
• Prioritise initiatives based on impact and ROI
3. Demand Generation & Performance
• Set direction for Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display)
• Define budget allocation frameworks and performance targets
• Manage performance through TACoS, margins, and blended metrics
• Oversee agency partners with clear accountability
4. Conversion & Marketplace Experience
• Improve conversion rates and average order value
• Partner with content/design teams to enhance listings
• Align traffic, content, and positioning
5. Inventory & Demand Planning
• Align inventory planning with growth strategy
• Improve forecasting and reduce stockouts
• Balance trade-offs between growth, margin, and inventory
6. Marketplace Expansion
• Evaluate and build new marketplaces (e.g., Walmart)
• Replicate successful strategies across channels
• Prioritise expansion based on ROI
7. Team Leadership & Execution
• Lead and mentor marketplace team
• Set KPIs, ownership, and execution cadence
• Build scalable processes and reporting frameworks
• Drive accountability across teams and partners
What Success Looks LikeFirst 90 Days
• TACoS benchmark established and efficiency plan implemented
• Campaign structure rebuilt with clear budget logic
• CVR baseline for top SKUs with A/B testing roadmap
6–12 Months
• Improved TACoS and contribution margins
• Top SKUs scaled with repeatable playbooks
• Expansion into new marketplaces
Qualifications & ExperienceRequired
• 6–10+ years in Amazon or marketplace growth (brand-side preferred)
• Proven track record of owning and scaling revenue
• Strong understanding of TACoS, ACoS, ROAS, CTR, CVR, margins
• Experience managing teams and/or agencies
• Hands-on with Seller/Vendor Central and Amazon Ads
Preferred
• Experience in Amazon US marketplace
• Background in wellness, supplements, or consumer brands
• Experience in high-growth environments
• Familiarity with tools like Helium10, DataDive
