Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performance Marketplace Business Manager to own and scale our presence across Amazon and Flipkart. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence across marketplaces.
You will be directly accountable for end-to-end business performance, including listings, advertising, pricing strategy, inventory planning, and platform compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketplace Growth & Revenue Ownership
- Own complete P&L for Amazon and Flipkart accounts
- Drive monthly revenue targets with clear growth strategies
- Identify high-growth SKUs and scale them aggressively
- Plan and execute sales events (Big Billion Days, Great Indian Festival, etc.)
2. Listing Optimization & Conversion
- Optimize product listings (titles, keywords, A+, images, SEO)
- Improve conversion rates through data-driven experiments
- Ensure all listings are aligned with platform best practices
3. Advertising & Performance Marketing
- Manage Amazon Ads (SP, SB, SD) and Flipkart Ads
- Optimize ROAS, ACOS, TACOS
- Plan and execute performance campaigns for scaling sales
4. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
- Forecast demand and ensure stock availability
- Coordinate with production and warehouse teams
- Avoid stockouts and overstock situations
5. Pricing & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor competitor pricing and positioning
- Implement dynamic pricing strategies
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the category
6. Data & Analytics
- Track key metrics:
- Sales, Conversion Rate, CTR
- ACOS / ROAS
- Buy Box %, Ranking
- Generate daily/weekly MIS reports
- Take decisions based on data, not assumptions
7. Platform Compliance & Account Health
- Ensure adherence to Amazon & Flipkart policies
- Maintain account health metrics
- Handle escalations, claims, and suppression issues
Key Requirements
- 3–6+ years experience managing Amazon / Flipkart accounts
- Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms and ranking factors
- Hands-on experience with Ads and performance optimization
- Ability to manage large SKU catalogs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High ownership mindset (no dependency culture)
