We are hiring a Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Marketo to drive execution excellence and lead client delivery within our CRM and campaign management practice. This role sits directly under the Practice Head and is responsible for owning campaign delivery across multiple clients, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring high-quality Marketo implementations across diverse industries.
The SME will act as a bridge between strategy and execution, combining hands-on Marketo expertise with leadership responsibilities and strong client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end campaign execution across multiple client accounts (email, nurture journeys, automation, integrations, reporting)
- Manage and deliver multi-client portfolios across different industries (e.g., e-commerce, SaaS, BFSI, healthcare, etc.)
- Act as a secondary client-facing lead, supporting the Practice Head in stakeholder management and delivery discussions
- Translate client requirements into scalable Marketo solutions and campaign architectures
- Ensure timely delivery, quality control, and adherence to SLAs across all campaigns
- Mentor and guide junior team members (Campaign Managers / Executives)
- Drive best practices in campaign setup, segmentation, personalization, and automation workflows
- Analyze campaign performance and provide data-backed optimization recommendations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, Design, Analytics, and Tech teams
- Support pre-sales efforts, including solutioning and effort estimation when required
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in CRM / Marketing Automation / Email Marketing, with strong agency experience (mandatory)
- Deep hands-on expertise in Marketo (campaign builds, workflows, lead scoring, integrations, reporting)
- Marketo Certification
- Proven experience handling multiple clients simultaneously across different industries
- Demonstrated team leadership or mentoring experience (even if not a formal people manager title)
- Strong understanding of: Campaign analytics & reporting, Attribution models, Customer lifecycle marketing
- Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced agency environment with tight timelines
