Role Description The Marketing Volunteer Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Dharamshala. The intern will support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns that promote FVHS programs, events, and initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with market research, drafting marketing materials, managing social media and digital outreach, and coordinating with team members for promotional activities. The intern will help engage youth and community partners, support outreach events, and contribute to building awareness about heritage education and preservation. This role offers hands-on experience in mission-driven marketing while contributing to meaningful cultural and community impact.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills for engaging stakeholders, youth, and community partners.
- Candidates should possess Market Research and Marketing Strategy skills to support campaign planning and audience insights.
- Candidates should possess Sales and outreach skills to promote programs, events, and initiatives effectively.
- Candidates should have basic digital marketing familiarity (social media, email outreach, content creation) and an interest in heritage and culture.
- Candidates should demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
- Candidates with prior experience in marketing, communications, non-profit work, or cultural projects, and those pursuing studies in marketing, communications, humanities, or related fields, will find this role beneficial.
