Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
∙Identify and develop new business opportunities in the LNG segment (Industrial, CGD,
Transport, Commercial customers).
∙Map potential customers and conduct market research to understand demand patterns.
∙Develop strategies to expand LNG footprint in allocated territories.
∙Participate in tenders and prepare techno-commercial proposals.
2. Sales & Revenue Generation
∙Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
∙Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, contracts, credit terms, and payment
schedules.
∙Secure long-term LNG supply agreements.
∙Monitor dispatch, billing, and payment collection to ensure smooth revenue realization.
3. Customer Relationship Management
∙Maintain strong relationships with key clients.
∙Conduct regular customer meetings to review performance and resolve concerns.
∙Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
4. Market Intelligence
∙Track LNG pricing trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
∙Monitor developments from organizations like Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board
(PNGRB).
∙Analyze demand-supply scenarios and prepare market reports for management.
5. Coordination & Internal Alignment
∙Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Finance, and technical teams for smooth execution of
LNG supplies.
∙Follow up on payment collections and outstanding dues.
∙Support contract finalization and documentation.
6. Tender & Government Liaisoning
∙Handle participation in LNG-related tenders from CGD companies
∙Ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
∙Liaise with government authorities when required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
∙Volume of LNG sold (MT/month)
∙Revenue & contribution margin
∙Number of new customers acquired
∙Collection efficiency
∙Tender success rate
∙Market share growth in assigned region
Required Qualifications
∙Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / MBA in Marketing / Petroleum / Energy Management
preferred.
∙5–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas / LNG / CGD marketing.
∙Strong understanding of LNG supply chain and pricing mechanisms.
Required Skills
∙Strong negotiation and contract management skills
∙Excellent communication and presentation skills
∙Knowledge of LNG logistics and cryogenic supply chain
∙Analytical and financial acumen
∙Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools
∙Ability to travel extensively
Preferred Experience
∙Experience in dealing with CGD companies.
∙Exposure to LNG sourcing from terminals
∙Understanding of gas pricing formulas and long-term LNG contracts.
