Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Marketing Specialist based in Punjab, India. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote Welsh Education’s programs. Core tasks include managing digital marketing campaigns, monitoring online and offline marketing initiatives, analyzing market trends, and creating content for promotional purposes. The role will also involve closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing objectives and enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of local market dynamics in Punjab, including student behavior, parent decision-making, and regional trends
- Experience in offline marketing strategies such as school/college visits, seminars, workshops, and direct student engagement
- Skills in content creation for brochures, banners, pamphlets, and local campaigns (Punjabi + Hindi + basic English communication)
- Ability to manage on-ground campaigns, admissions drives, and brand promotions in local areas
- Knowledge of basic digital support tools (WhatsApp marketing, Facebook promotion, local listings) to complement offline efforts
- Experience in relationship building with schools, coaching centers, and local influencers
- Strong communication, presentation, and convincing skills for face-to-face interactions
- Capability to conduct career counseling sessions and student guidance seminars
- Ability to work both independently in field roles and collaboratively with internal teams
- Understanding of education industry (study abroad / skill development / training institutes) is highly preferred
- Graduate in any field (Marketing/Commerce preferred, but not mandatory with relevant experience)
