Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Marketing Specialist role based in Odisha, India. The Marketing Specialist will plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote conferences, webinars, and exhibitions across digital and offline channels. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, defining target audiences, and supporting marketing strategy development for specific events and regions. The role involves creating and optimizing marketing content, coordinating with sales and operations teams, and tracking campaign performance using analytics tools. The Marketing Specialist will also engage with participants and partners, respond to inquiries, and support customer communication before, during, and after events to help drive registrations and brand awareness.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with participants, partners, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Market Research to analyze audience needs, competitive landscape, and trends relevant to global conferences and events.
- Experience in Marketing Strategy and Sales to design campaigns that drive registrations, sponsorships, and brand visibility.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines, and work in a fast-paced event environment.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels (email, social media, SEO/SEM, basic analytics) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in event marketing, education, or conference management is an advantage.
- Capacity to work on-site in Odisha, India, with flexibility around event schedules as needed.
