Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kurla for a Marketing & Sales Manager specializing in Freight Forwarding. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building client relationships, and maintaining existing accounts. The role entails creating and implementing sales strategies, managing a team, and overseeing marketing efforts to drive revenue growth. You will identify and develop partnerships, monitor the market to stay ahead of trends, and ensure client satisfaction by addressing individual needs and providing customized shipping solutions. Collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery is also a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation; minimum of 5 years of professional experience
- Strong expertise in sales, business development, and customer relationship management
- Proficiency in creating and executing marketing strategies tailored to the logistics and freight forwarding industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to conduct market analysis and implement competitive strategies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and standard office software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a relevant field; MBA is a plus
- Understanding of global trade regulations and compliance is highly desirable
