Job Description – Marketing Operations Manager

Role Summary
The Marketing Operations Manager will coordinate, monitor, and manage the day-to-day marketing activities across seven regions. The role will act as the central point of visibility for campaigns, budgets, approvals, timelines, deliverables, reports, and pending actions.
The ideal candidate must have strong practical marketing experience and understand how campaigns are planned, executed, monitored, and evaluated across digital, retail, e-commerce, CRM, social media, events, and other marketing channels.
The role will ensure that marketing operations run smoothly, activities are completed on time, teams remain accountable, and the Group Head of Marketing has clear visibility of progress, priorities, risks, and required decisions.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain a central tracker of all planned, ongoing, delayed, and completed marketing activities across seven regions.
· Follow up with regional, brand, digital, CRM, e-commerce, retail, creative, finance, and agency teams.
· Track campaign briefs, budgets, approvals, creative assets, launch dates, deliverables, and reporting deadlines.
· Review marketing plans and campaign requirements to ensure they are complete and commercially relevant.
· Maintain the consolidated marketing calendar for campaigns, promotions, product launches, events, and activations.
· Prepare daily and weekly updates highlighting completed activities, pending actions, delays, risks, and decisions required.
· Ensure every activity has a clear objective, owner, budget, timeline, target audience, channel plan, and approval status.
· Monitor marketing budgets, purchase orders, invoices, agency costs, and budget-versus-actual spending.
· Coordinate campaign execution across online and offline marketing channels.
· Organise marketing operations meetings, document decisions, and track agreed actions.
· Identify operational gaps, campaign risks, missing requirements, and delays and escalate them when necessary.
· Ensure regional teams follow standard marketing processes, templates, approval workflows, and reporting formats.
· Maintain organised records of campaign briefs, approvals, budgets, reports, and performance results.
· Support improvements and automation of marketing trackers, workflows, reminders, and reports.
Required Experience and Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
· Minimum 6 years of hands-on marketing experience, including at least 3 years in marketing operations, campaign management, or regional coordination.
· Practical experience planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
· Good understanding of performance marketing, social media, CRM, e-commerce, retail marketing, branding, events, and activations.
· Experience managing marketing activities across multiple regions, brands, markets, or business units.
· Ability to review campaign plans, marketing briefs, budgets, timelines, and performance reports.
· Strong organisational, stakeholder-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and teams simultaneously.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project-management tools.
· Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Planner, Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, or similar platforms is preferred.
· Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.

· Percentage of marketing activities completed on time.
· Accuracy and completeness of marketing trackers and reports.
· Number of overdue actions and unresolved operational issues.
· Campaign launch readiness and approval compliance.
· Marketing budget tracking accuracy.
