About Mapped
Mapped is a boutique recruitment consulting firm that specializes in sourcing mid-senior level roles in HR, Office Support, and Leadership positions. With over 6 years of principal experience in the industry and an average annual turnover of 0.5 - 0.8 million SGD, our eye for talent is only met equally by our company's unique focus on a value-oriented, genuine, and transparent approach to relationship building, as well as our heart for empowering disadvantaged persons to thrive in the workplace through our partnership with social service agencies.
About the Role
We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented, and genuinely driven individual to join Mapped as a Marketing & Operations Intern. This is a dual-function role built for someone who is equally comfortable crafting compelling brand content and keeping the engine of our operations running smoothly — someone who takes real ownership, moves fast, and doesn't need hand-holding to deliver.
This is a 3-month internship contract to start, with a strong opportunity to either extend or convert into a full-time role based on performance and mutual fit. We're not looking for someone who just clocks in — we want someone who sees this as a genuine launchpad and treats every task, big or small, as their own.
What You'll Be Doing (not limited to)
MARKETING:
- Own brand content creation across Instagram, LinkedIn, and X for Mapped — from ideation to publishing
- Build and manage the complete Mapped brand kit, and take full ownership of the brand identity for a product we are currently developing
- Leverage AI tools creatively and strategically — we want someone who actively seeks out interesting tools, experiments with them, and produces exceptional content quickly without sacrificing quality
- Take end-to-end ownership of content posting: writing captions, selecting and optimizing hashtags, scheduling posts, and tracking engagement
OPERATIONS:
- Assist in maintaining and managing the internal CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
- Support data-related tasks including database management, data migration, data cleansing, and ensuring ongoing data accuracy
- Utilize CRM and ATS tools to manage client and candidate relationships, ensuring high data integrity
- Identify and generate leads to support business development, using a mix of research, tools, and initiative
- Monitor job advertisements across different countries and regions, and assist in sending out business float emails to support outreach and lead generation efforts
- Contribute to internal automation projects by helping to streamline repetitive workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Support employee leave management and HR records through our HRIS, and assist with CPF contribution filings and related compliance tasks
- Support day-to-day operational tasks typical of a junior operations associate, including coordination, documentation, process tracking, and ad hoc support as the team scales
ACROSS BOTH FUNCTIONS:
- Provide regular, proactive progress updates to your manager throughout the engagement — no need to be chased
- Work independently in a remote setup, managing your own time and priorities without constant check-ins
What We're Looking For
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant experience (internships count)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, etc.
- Sharp and detail-oriented - you catch what others miss and take pride in the quality of your work
- Organized and structured - you manage your tasks, deadlines, and communication with clarity
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Genuinely comfortable using AI tools as an enabler and creative multiplier, not as a shortcut to skip thinking. We value considered, thoughtful output over fast, generic results
- Self-directed and proactive - you thrive in a remote environment and take initiative without waiting to be told what to do next
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal instincts
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where ownership, accountability, and meeting deadlines are non-negotiable
