Job Description – Senior Manager – Marketing (Fabrication & Heavy Fabrication)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Marketing with a strong background in fabrication and heavy fabrication manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have expertise in marketing fabricated products, acquiring new customers, managing key accounts, and understanding manufacturing processes such as laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, machining, and assembly. The candidate should also be capable of interpreting engineering drawings and collaborating with customers and internal teams to deliver technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing and business development strategies to achieve sales targets.
Generate new business opportunities in fabrication, heavy fabrication, OEM, automotive, industrial machinery, and engineering sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Understand customer requirements by reviewing engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Coordinate with Design, Production, Planning, Quality, and Supply Chain teams for timely project execution.
Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts.
Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.
Identify new market opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
Lead the marketing team and drive performance through effective planning and execution.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and support continuous business growth.
Participate in exhibitions, industrial events, and customer meetings.
Required Technical Knowledge
Strong knowledge of laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, machining, fabrication, and heavy fabrication processes.
Ability to read and interpret 2D/3D engineering drawings and manufacturing blueprints.
Knowledge of materials such as MS, SS, Aluminium, and other engineering metals.
Understanding of fabrication cost estimation and manufacturing feasibility.
Familiarity with manufacturing standards, GD&T, and quality requirements.
Good understanding of ERP/SAP and Microsoft Excel.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
MBA (Marketing) is preferred.
Experience
10–15 years of experience in Marketing within the Fabrication/Heavy Fabrication/Sheet Metal Manufacturing industry.
Proven experience in handling OEM customers and industrial manufacturing products.
