About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic 0-1 journey for a sub-2 year old beauty brand. As the brand & marketing manager, you will be in a leadership position and a
critical part of the brand growth engine. This is a high ownership role, with full responsibility of the
marketing function – whatever that may evolve to entail.
Responsibilities
1. Lead all activities across the marketing funnel – including brand awareness, consideration,
purchase, loyalty and retention – both online & offline
2. Be the single point of contact and own overall brand management, including brand launch,
product launches, campaign planning, content direction and design management
3. Ensure that the right communication is set and consistently executed for the brand across social
media, influencer marketing, performance advertising and other digital channels
4. Build in-depth competitor, market and consumer understanding in order to build monthly and
quarterly marketing plans and effectively guide the team (internal and external)
5. Plan marketing channel mix and evaluate marketing ROI across different activities / channels
and tweak strategy periodically, as required
6. Drive key initiatives and alternate channels – like sampling, events & pop ups, new launches, key
brand collaborations etc. to discontinuously deliver brand growth
7. Contribute to revenue growth for the brand by collaborating with external partners and internal
teams to support all related functions
8. Drive operational excellence (budget management, KPI tracking, etc.) from day one and create a
data-driven and collaborative culture within the marketing team
Minimum Qualification
1. 5+ years working with D2C brands, experience with lifestyle/ beauty brands preferred
2. Deep understanding of the digital consumer brand ecosystem
3. Excellent communication skills – both verbal and visual
4. Creativity, out of the box thinking and an ability to problem-solve independently
5. Proven past project and team leadership experience
Location
This is a full-time role based in Thane (near Mumbai) with 6 days working (Monday -
Saturday), and an option to Work From Home 1 day every week (Saturday)
