About Us
Mango Stationery is an omnichannel retail and B2B company — 3 stores, a Shopify store, and a growing corporate gifting vertical. We carry the world's finest writing instruments: Kaweco, Pilot, Cross, Montblanc. We're building private-label brands, expanding nationally, and chasing a vision of becoming India's most loved creative-lifestyle retail brand.
Marketing is our next frontier. We know what we want to say — we need someone who can make the world hear it.
The Role
This is not a support role. You will own marketing end-to-end — content, campaigns, and conversion — across multiple brands and channels simultaneously. You'll use AI tools not as a shortcut, but as a strategic force multiplier that lets you do the work of a full team.
You will create content across four verticals:
- Mango Stationery — retail brand, warm and campaign-driven
- Mango Originals — private label, Muji-clean and minimal
- B2B Gifting — corporate, polished and ROI-led
- Founder's Personal Brand — entrepreneurship, luxury pens, fitness, culture
What You'll Own
- Script, plan, and brief video reels for Instagram and YouTube — luxury pens, lifestyle, campaigns, educational content
- Write all copy: Instagram captions, WhatsApp broadcast messages, email sequences, product descriptions, blog posts
- Build and maintain a monthly content calendar across all four verticals
- Design campaign assets using Canva and AI image generation tools
- Plan and execute seasonal campaigns — Back2School, gifting seasons, product launches, store events
- Own the WhatsApp broadcast strategy — content, segmentation, frequency, and performance tracking
- Feed the Community Manager with content briefs, campaign assets, and messaging frameworks
- Support the B2B team with proposal decks, pitch presentations, and outreach copy
- Track content performance and iterate based on what actually works
- Brief and coordinate with external videographers, photographers, and designers when needed
- Build and maintain a content asset library — scripts, templates, brand guidelines, shot lists
AI Fluency — Non-Negotiable
You must already be using AI tools in your daily workflow — not experimenting with them, using them.

What Great Looks Like
Content Volume — You can produce 20+ pieces of content a week across formats because you've built systems and use AI intelligently.
Brand Ear — You can write in four distinct brand voices and they never sound the same.
Speed — A campaign brief lands Monday. You have a draft plan by Tuesday and first assets by Wednesday.
Ownership — You bring ideas to the table, not just execution. You flag what's not working and propose what to try next — without being asked.
Who You Are
- 2–4 years in a content, marketing, or brand role — agency or in-house both fine
- You have a portfolio. Real work. Reels that performed, campaigns that ran, copy that converted.
- You're genuinely curious about brands, products, and what makes people buy
- You write well in English — clearly, concisely, and with personality
- You're organised enough to manage multiple content calendars without dropping the ball
- You have a personal Instagram or creative outlet — we'll ask to see it
- You find stationery, design, and lifestyle brands genuinely interesting (faking this is very obvious)

Before We Meet — Pre-Interview Task

TASK 1 — The Reel Brief Visit mangostationery.com, pick any luxury pen, and write a complete Instagram Reel script (45–60 seconds) — hook, body, CTA, shot-by-shot notes, caption, and 10 hashtags. Tell us why your hook works. Bonus: share which AI tool you'd use and how.
TASK 2 — The Campaign Skeleton Build a 2-week Instagram + WhatsApp launch plan for Mango Pass, our Back-to-School student loyalty card. Include: content breakdown by day and format, 3 headline content ideas, one WhatsApp broadcast message for launch day, and one email subject line you'd A/B test.
TASK 3 — The AI Proof Pick one option and complete it using your preferred AI tools. Share both the output and your actual prompts. Option A: 5 Instagram carousel concepts for a Montblanc gifting campaign, with a slide-by-slide breakdown for one Option B: 3 WhatsApp messages for a corporate gifting offer — one each for HR, Admin, and Founder personas Option C: A 200-word brand intro for Mango Originals for the website About page
