MARKETING MANAGER – CORPORATE SALES, EVENTS, CATERING & MEAL PROGRAMS

Position Overview
Goa Portuguesa is looking for a dynamic, result-oriented and hospitality-driven Marketing Manager to lead and expand our corporate business verticals, including corporate food orders, event catering, institutional tie-ups and curated meal programs.
The ideal candidate should have strong networking abilities, experience in hospitality sales and marketing, and the capability to generate sustainable business through corporate relationships, social outreach and strategic partnerships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Corporate Order Development
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate offices, business parks, production houses, hospitals, educational institutions and co-working spaces.
Generate daily, weekly and monthly bulk food orders.
Promote executive lunch boxes, festive hampers, thalis and corporate meal packages.
Coordinate with operations and kitchen teams for smooth execution of corporate deliveries.
Create and maintain a database of potential corporate clients.
Conduct client meetings, presentations and food tastings.
2. Event Catering Business
Develop catering business for:
Corporate events / Private partiesb / Birthday celebrations / Weddings & pre-wedding functions
Cultural events / Outdoor catering/ Festival food counters
Coordinate event planning with kitchen, service and operations teams.
Prepare event proposals, customized menus and pricing structures.
Ensure timely follow-ups and conversions of inquiries.
Build partnerships with event planners, banquet venues and decorators.
3. Meal Program Development
Develop subscription-based meal programs for:
Corporate employees / Senior citizens /Working professionals /Health-focused meal plans
Maharashtrian and Goan home-style meals
Create weekly and monthly meal packages.
Develop tie-ups with residential societies and institutions.
Coordinate with delivery aggregators and logistics partners.
Monitor customer feedback and retention.
SALES & MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate leads through field visits, networking and digital outreach.
Increase brand visibility in local corporate and residential markets.
Plan promotional campaigns, festive offers and food sampling activities.
Collaborate with social media and design teams for campaigns.
Maintain strong customer relationship management (CRM).
Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
Track competitor activities and market trends.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Hospitality sales and catering experience preferred.
Knowledge of food & beverage industry.
Corporate networking and client servicing abilities.
Event coordination and business development skills.
Strong negotiation and presentation capabilities.
Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media promotions.
Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3–5 years in hospitality marketing, catering sales or restaurant business development.
Experience in handling corporate catering or institutional sales.
Existing corporate network in Mumbai preferred.
