Swasthgram Foundation — Internship Opening
Role: Marketing Intern
Duration: 3–6 months (Paid Internship — ₹5,000/month)
Location: Hybrid, Delhi Office (twice a week office , rest remote)
About Swasthgram: Swasthgram Foundation is a healthcare impact organization transforming rural India through doorstep diagnostics (Lab-on-Bike), scientific skilling for rural youth, and clean air initiatives. We work across India and multiple states with partners including the Indian Army, Medanta, PwC, and the Department of Biotechnology. This is not charity — it's nation building through empowerment.
What You'll Do:
You'll be the voice and rhythm of Swasthgram's digital presence. Specifically:
1) Social Media Management — Own and run Swasthgram's LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social channels. Plan, create, and post content weekly. Turn field updates, screening data, and ground stories into compelling visual posts that build credibility and attract donors, partners, and supporters.
2) WhatsApp Community Management — Build and manage the Swasthgram Impact Circle WhatsApp Community. Post weekly impact updates on the Announcement Channel, seed discussion prompts in sub-groups, respond to member messages promptly, moderate conversations, and drive member growth through referral nudges and engagement tactics.
3) Storytelling & Content Creation — Work closely with the field team to collect photos, videos, and narratives. Convert raw ground-level updates into story-first, impact-driven content — not corporate-sounding posts, but real stories that make people feel the impact.
4) Donor & Supporter Engagement — Keep donors informed through weekly progress updates. Make every supporter feel like a stakeholder in the mission, not just a transaction. Manage post-donation communication and community onboarding.
5) Trend Watching & Competitive Intelligence — Stay on top of what other NGOs and social impact organizations are doing on social media — in India and globally. Track what's working, what formats are trending, and bring fresh ideas to the table every week. Monitor relevant hashtags, campaigns, and fundraising trends.
6) Campaign Support — Assist in planning and executing digital campaigns tied to Google Ad Grants, fundraising drives, and awareness initiatives across all three programs (SwasthManthan, Saksham, Shudhvayu).
Who You Are:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, social work, or a related field
- Strong written communication in English and Hindi — you can write a LinkedIn post that doesn't sound like a bot wrote it
- Comfortable with Canva, basic photo/video editing, and social media scheduling tools
- Active on LinkedIn and Instagram — you understand how these platforms work, not just theoretically but from using them
- Self-starter who doesn't wait for instructions every morning — you see a gap, you fill it
- Genuinely interested in social impact, rural development, or healthcare — not just looking for a certificate
- Organized enough to manage a weekly content calendar and stick to it
Nice to Have (not required):
- Experience managing WhatsApp groups or online communities
- Basic understanding of Google Ads or social media advertising
- Portfolio of social media work, blog posts, or content you've created
- Familiarity with the NGO/social sector landscape in India
What You'll Get:
- ₹5,000/month stipend & Certificate of completion
- Real, hands-on experience building a brand from the ground up — not fetching coffee or filing papers
- Direct exposure to how an impact organization operates at the intersection of healthcare, government partnerships, and grassroots execution
- Your work will be visible — posts you create, communities you build, campaigns you run will have your fingerprint on them
- Letter of recommendation and internship certificate upon completion
- Top performers will be considered for conversion to a full-time role at Swasthgram Foundation based on performance during the internship
