We're looking for someone who wants to be part of building something from the ground up.
Role Description
This is a remote, freelance internship role at Sidekick, India's first premium dog wheelchair and pet rehabilitation brand, supported by the Indian School of Business. You will work directly with the founder across multiple functions. This is a generalist role, and you will be expected to wear many hats.
Brand and Marketing
- Build and manage Sidekick's presence on Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms from near zero
- Create content, including reels scripts, captions, carousels, and long-form posts that reflect the Sidekick brand voice
- Support paid advertising campaigns on Google and Meta with copy and creative input
- Identify influencer, creator, and community partnership opportunities and initiate outreach
Content and Design
- Ideate and execute content independently, not just follow a brief
- Basic design work on Canva or similar tools for social posts, pitch decks, and marketing collateral
- Write emails, WhatsApp messages, and outreach copy as needed
Customer Experience
- Handle inbound customer queries on WhatsApp and email
- Follow up post-delivery for feedback and testimonials
- Flag product or service issues to the founder promptly
Sales and Outreach Support
- Maintain lead trackers and update CRM records
- Support vet clinic and NGO outreach with follow-up communication and pitch materials
- Track and report conversion status weekly
What we are looking for
- Someone who loves dogs and genuinely connects with this mission
- A self-starter who brings ideas without being asked
- Someone comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage chaos
- Strong communication skills in English
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Suite, Canva, Google Sheets, and Instagram
- Prior experience in a startup or D2C brand is a plus, not a requirement
