We are seeking a proactive and analytical Marketing Researcher to join our team, working closely with our cybersecurity experts to develop effective marketing campaigns and shape our marketing roadmap. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong interest in cybersecurity, social media marketing, and competitive research. You will help us create a strong brand presence with innovative promotional offerings, online and offline marketing campaigns, and events.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Develop, manage, and optimize content across LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram, specifically tailoring posts to reach professionals and companies working in technology.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research on cybersecurity trends, competitors, and target audiences.
- Content Creation & Strategy: Collaborate on content creation and strategy for social media, email, and digital campaigns.
- Brand Voice & Positioning: Assist in developing a consistent and authoritative brand voice that resonates with cybersecurity audiences.
- Collaborative Work: Work with cross-functional teams, especially in security and product development, to ensure messaging aligns with cybersecurity goals.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on campaign metrics (engagement rates, lead generation, conversion rates) to measure the effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
- Competitor Analysis: Regularly analyze competitor strategies, highlighting areas for improvement or innovation within our marketing strategy.
- Audience Insights: Develop a deep understanding of our target audience, gathering insights on needs, challenges, and preferred content for more effective outreach.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field will be preferred.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in marketing, which can include prior internship experience.
- Exposure to the cybersecurity field is a plus.
- Familiarity with SEO practices and tools like SEMrush, Moz.
Social Media Expertise:
- Proficiency in managing and creating content for Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
- Understanding of platform-specific trends, engagement strategies, and content best practices.
