EquaRoots — Where psychiatry meets psychobiotics.
India's first stress-smart platform, built at the intersection of gut health and mental wellness. We take a holistic, multimodal approach to care — combining clinically-informed nutraceutical products with real psychiatric consultation access, backed by a NIMHANS-trained Clinical Lead. Because mental wellness deserves science, not stigma.
Role Description
The Marketing Intern will support EquaRoots' day-to-day marketing activities in a hybrid role based in the Greater Delhi Area (2 days/week from our Noida coworking space, remaining days WFH). Responsibilities include creating and executing content across formats — reels, talking-head videos, captions, scripts, blog posts, and WhatsApp copy — while adjusting tone across platforms. The intern will support social media content planning, help identify and onboard the right creators/influencers for partnerships, and track campaign performance and customer engagement.
The role also involves contributing to market research, gathering customer insights, and assisting with competitor analysis to inform marketing strategy. Additional responsibilities may include supporting sales enablement materials, basic customer support tied to marketing initiatives, and collaborating across functions — content, e-commerce, and operations — to ensure brand consistency.
This is a hands-on seat at an early-stage startup table: you'll see how a brand gets built from the ground up, not just execute someone else's playbook.
Qualifications
- Comfortable on camera — reels, talking-head content, and behind-the-scenes filming
- Strong written communication skills, able to flex tone and format (captions, scripts, blog, WhatsApp copy) across platforms
- Genuine interest in or understanding of the creator/influencer ecosystem — able to judge fit over follower count
- Comfortable initiating conversations with strangers, creators, and partners
- Basic grounding in market research and marketing strategy to support data-driven campaign planning
- Proficiency with digital tools (social platforms, spreadsheets, presentation software); interest in wellness, mental health, or consumer healthcare is a strong plus
- Pursuing or holding a degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- Able to commute to Noida twice a week, manage multiple tasks, and learn quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
