Role Description The Marketing Executive (Tendering Specialist) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The individual in this role will identify and track tender opportunities from government and private entities, analyze tender requirements, and prepare competitive bids and proposals in coordination with technical and finance teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, supporting market planning activities, maintaining tender documentation, and ensuring timely submission of all tender-related materials. The role involves close collaboration with sales and marketing colleagues to develop pricing strategies, support client presentations, and follow up on submitted tenders. The Marketing Executive (Tendering Specialist) will also maintain accurate records of tender outcomes, contribute to reporting and forecasting, and help strengthen the company’s market presence in the industrial engineering sector.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Market Research and Market Planning to identify opportunities and support tender strategy.
- Search various type of Government Tenders in daily basis. Strong knowledge in GEM portal, SAIL e-proc system (MJunction), MIDHANI e-Proc portals, IREPS (Indian Railway) etc.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication & Interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams, prepare clear proposals, and interact with clients and tender authorities.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Marketing skills to support bid positioning, pricing discussions, and post-tender follow-up, reverse auction, japanese auction etc.
- Relevant experience in tendering, bid management, or business development within mechanical or industrial engineering is beneficial.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in email writing in MS Outlook, MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) are preferred.
- Candidate must have qualifications B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical only with minimum 2 to 3 years experience especially in Tendering work.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
