Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Assist in implementing marketing plans for IDA events across digital and offline platforms.
Support the creation, updating, and tracking of a content calendar for events.
Coordinate with internal design, content, and social media teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.
Help manage event-related promotional activities, emailers, and social media campaigns.
Sales & Business Development Support
Assist the sales team in international and domestic outreach for exhibition booths, sponsorships, and event-related opportunities.
Support preparation of sales collaterals, sponsorship decks, and client presentations.
Maintain and update databases of exhibitors, sponsors, and industry partners.
Support cross-promotion of IDA activities and initiatives to existing clients.
Follow up on leads, inquiries, and client communications under guidance of senior team members.
Stakeholder & International Relations Support
Assist in coordinating communication with international stakeholders, embassies, consulates, and partner organizations.
Support documentation, correspondence, and coordination for international collaborations and delegations.
Event Support & On-Ground Coordination
Work closely with the events team to support end-to-end planning and execution of conferences and exhibitions.
Assist with on-ground marketing activities, exhibitor coordination, and client servicing during events.
Support sponsors and exhibitors with basic queries and coordination before and during events.
Help ensure marketing deliverables align with event objectives and timelines.
Additional Responsibilities
Undertake additional tasks assigned in support of IDA’s event and marketing objectives.
Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing tools to support team insights.
Maintain proper documentation, reports, and post-event marketing summaries.
Desired Profile
Graduate in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in marketing, events, exhibitions, or corporate communications (internship experience acceptable).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
Good coordination, follow-up, and organisational skills.
Willingness to travel and work on-site during events.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
