*Marketing Executive*
Reports To: Head of Marketing / Chief Marketing Officer

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Marketing Executive is a hands-on, multi-functional role responsible for executing BuildingWorld's day-to-day marketing operations. This individual will work across content creation, campaign management, social media, and vendor coordination to drive brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation for the platform.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
▸ Social Media Management
– Plan, create, and publish content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter/X
– Manage content calendars, posting schedules, and community engagement (comments, DMs, tags)
– Track reach, engagement, follower growth, and report monthly social metrics
▸ Content Creation & Copywriting
– Write platform copy, blog articles, email newsletters, ad copies, and captions
– Coordinate graphic design and short-form video production with in-house or freelance creative teams
– Produce product-focused content showcasing building materials, suppliers, and platform features
▸ Paid Campaign Support
– Assist in setting up, monitoring, and reporting on Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn campaigns
– Track spend, CTR, conversion metrics, and flag anomalies to the marketing lead
– Support A/B testing of creatives, landing pages, and audience segments
▸ SEO & Website Support
– Perform on-page SEO tasks: metadata optimisation, internal linking, keyword integration
– Coordinate with the tech team for website updates, blog publishing, and CMS management
– Track keyword rankings and organic traffic via Google Search Console and Analytics
▸ Email & CRM Marketing
– Execute email marketing campaigns for builder, developer, and supplier audiences
– Segment lists, manage drip campaigns, and track open/click rates
– Maintain and update CRM data hygiene in coordination with the sales team
▸ Events & Activations
– Coordinate logistics for trade shows, expos, and BuildingWorld-hosted events
– Manage branded materials, vendor collateral, and post-event follow-up campaigns
– Liaise with external agencies, printers, and production vendors
▸ Reporting & Analytics
– Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports across channels
– Maintain marketing dashboards in tools such as Google Data Studio, HubSpot, or similar
– Provide campaign analysis and actionable insights to the marketing lead
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
▸ Social media engagement rate and follower growth (month-on-month)
▸ Content output volume and quality metrics
▸ Email open rate, click-through rate, and list growth
▸ Leads generated through organic and paid channels
▸ Campaign cost efficiency (CTR, CPC, ROAS)
QUALIFICATIONS
▸ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or related field
▸ Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Canva, and Mailchimp / HubSpot
▸ Strong writing and communication skills in English; working knowledge of Tamil a plus
▸ Basic understanding of SEO principles and Google Analytics
▸ Creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
