PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Assisting the Marketing Manager in the formation of brand and marketing strategy, you will manage the delivery of multi-media campaigns and marketing collateral in line with the marketing plan.
Working with in-house and through creative agencies, this role helps to deliver creatively outstanding and high quality campaigns that are on brand, on budget and on time with consistency of visual look, brand image, identity and communications messages across all media with a particular emphasis on digital.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
- Work with Marketing manager on building the annual strategy
- Execute the annual marketing calendar for the region
- Execute brand and digital campaigns across Google, YouTube, Meta and above-the-line platforms for the language services
- Manage and execute organic and paid marketing on partner platforms
- Liaise with key stakeholders from creative team, digital and media agencies, editorial team, partnerships team.
Your Skills And Experience
- Proficient in digital and content marketing
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience of working in a media marketing role would be preferred though not mandatory
- Ability to analyse data and articulate it with actionable insights to key stakeholders
Essential Criteria
- Delivering multi-media digital campaigns within broadcasting or an industry with a similar brand facing business including demonstrating the use of digital marketing and use of social network platforms
- Demonstrable experience of strategically planning (both media and creative) and delivering successful marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned media
- Extensive understanding of the impact of digital marketing on digital audiences, setting KPI’s and evidence of meeting digital targets
- An excellent brief writer – ability to understand commercial objectives and interpret these into strong and focused briefs.
- A level of interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to enable the post holder to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Essential knowledge of digital marketing techniques - and in particular paid search, SEO, display, social and direct – is able to interpret data and communicate campaign performance
Desirable
- Understanding of editorial and other compliance policies
- Understanding of BBC Brands, knowledge of the broadcasting industry and a demonstrable interest in its output
- Will take a lead role in ensuring on time delivery of all strategic and creative aspects of project development
- Responsible for solely managing some projects.
