About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Content Creation Intern to support our marketing team in building WeLyft's brand presence across digital platforms. This internship offers hands-on experience in content development, digital marketing, and brand communications within the logistics and fleet management industry. The ideal candidate has a flair for writing, a good eye for visuals, and a genuine interest in growing a brand from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and edit content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
- Assist in planning and maintaining a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely publishing.
- Support the creation of marketing materials such as email newsletters, blog posts, website copy, and promotional collateral.
- Review and proofread existing content for accuracy, tone consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and basic paid advertising support.
- Monitor and track the performance of digital content using analytics tools and compile regular performance reports.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor content strategies, and audience insights to inform content direction.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure marketing content accurately reflects service offerings and business priorities.
- Support the organisation and documentation of marketing assets, templates, and campaign materials.
Requirements
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in content creation, digital marketing, and brand storytelling.
- Good writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms and audiences.
- Comfortable using design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite; prior experience is an advantage but not required.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and a basic understanding of how digital marketing works.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Business Suite is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Creative, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
