About the Role
Lumenspace Private Limited is looking for an experienced and industry-connected Marketing Consultant / Business Development Consultant from the Aerospace & Defence sector to drive business growth and customer acquisition for our engineering and manufacturing services division.
The candidate will play a key role in expanding our presence across Aerospace, Defence, Industrial Engineering, and Indigenous Product Development sectors by bringing new business opportunities, strategic client connections, and long-term growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities and customer leads in Aerospace & Defence sectors
- Bring manufacturing and engineering service orders for:
- Sheet Metal Fabrication
- Precision Machining
- Welding & Structural Fabrication
- Tooling, Fixtures, Jigs & Gauges
- Engineering & CAE Services
- Product Development & Manufacturing Solutions
- Develop relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, defence organizations, PSUs, and private aerospace companies
- Support strategic business expansion and market penetration initiatives
- Identify opportunities related to NPD (New Product Development) and Indigenous Development projects
- Participate in techno-commercial discussions, RFQs, proposals, and customer engagement activities
- Guide the organization in developing long-term business strategies within Aerospace & Defence manufacturing domains
- Support vendor registration, approvals, and partnership development activities
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Aerospace & Defence business development / marketing
- Strong industry network and proven capability in generating manufacturing business
- Good understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and engineering services
- Experience handling client interactions, business negotiations, and strategic partnerships
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, tooling, welding, and engineering solutions is preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working in a startup environment
