Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune Division for a Marketing Communications Officer. The role involves developing and executing marketing communication strategies, creating content for press releases, and representing the company's brand and offerings to internal and external stakeholders. The position includes managing strategic communication initiatives, coordinating media relations, drafting and editing professional communication materials, and ensuring consistent messaging across various platforms. Active collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to achieve marketing objectives is also a key responsibility.
Job Description:
Social Media Management & Execution
- Manage and regularly update the company's social media accounts LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, and any emerging platforms.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging posts, stories, reels, and digital campaigns.
- Monitor comments, messages, and engagement across platforms and respond in a timely, brand-appropriate manner.
Creative Design & Visual Content
- Design creatives for social media, digital campaigns, presentations, brochures, product profiles, and internal communications using Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.
- Create short-form videos, motion graphics, and infographics to support campaigns and brand storytelling.
- Maintain an organized library of brand assets, templates, and design files.
Content Development & Copywriting
- Write clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy for social media posts, captions, website updates, email newsletters, and promotional materials.
Website Management
- Manage routine website updates news, product pages, blogs, banners, and announcements.
- Coordinate with web developers for technical changes or new features when required.
- Ensure all website content remains current, accurate, and aligned with the brand.
Digital Campaign Support
- Execute digital marketing campaigns social media ads, promotional mailers, and online brand activities.
- Assist in planning and executing participation in industry events, exhibitions, and internal company events from a content and design standpoint.
- Coordinate with external vendors — photographers, videographers, printers — for marketing material production.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or CorelDRAW.
- Good understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices — especially LinkedIn, X, and Facebook.
- Solid copywriting skills with an ability to adapt tone for B2B industrial audiences.
- Basic video editing skills — Reels, short-form videos, and motion graphics (preferred).
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to ideating and executing content.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics or social media analytics tools.
