About CommsPur Collective
Commsपुर Collective (Comms + पुर, meaning community) is an ecosystem-enabling organisation working at the intersection of communication, strategy, and social change.
We work with grassroots organisations, philanthropies, and CSR initiatives to help them build the communication capacity and infrastructure required to sustain and deepen their impact.
Our work spans strategic consultancy, capacity building, creative solutions, and communications research, with the goal of helping organisations communicate their work more clearly and effectively.
The Role
We are looking for someone who can translate strategy into consistent execution.
CommsPur already has a clear communication strategy and narrative architecture. What we need is a person who can take those ideas and turn them into actual communication outputs — content, campaigns, and ongoing visibility for the organisation.
This role sits at the centre of CommsPur’s marketing and communication work, ensuring that the organisation’s thinking is consistently expressed, published, and distributed.
You will work closely with the founder, a researcher, and a designer to ensure that ideas move smoothly from concept to communication.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy to Execution
Translate CommsPur’s strategic ideas and communication plans into clear execution roadmaps.
This includes:
- planning communication outputs
- maintaining communication calendars
- ensuring ideas are converted into publishable content
Content Development
Develop and write communication content across formats, including:
- LinkedIn posts
- articles and essays
- briefing notes and sector commentary
- campaign messaging
- website content
The goal is to ensure CommsPur’s thinking is expressed clearly, consistently, and thoughtfully.
Content Planning & Publishing
Plan and manage a regular communication rhythm.
This includes:
- maintaining a content calendar
- scheduling and publishing content
- coordinating with the design and research teams
Campaign and Initiative Execution
Support the execution of CommsPur’s marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Examples may include:
- communication campaigns
- research launches
- sector events or workshops
- narrative-driven outreach efforts
Distribution & Visibility
Ensure communication outputs reach the right audiences.
This includes managing:
- LinkedIn publishing
- email briefings
- distribution of research or content pieces
- coordination of communication around events or announcements
Experience Required
4–6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- communications and content strategy
- marketing or brand communication
- journalism or editorial writing
- social impact communication
Experience working with social sector organisations or advocacy communication is an advantage but not mandatory.
Skills
Strong writing and storytelling ability
Ability to translate ideas into clear communication
Content planning and editorial thinking
Understanding of marketing and communication ecosystems
Ability to manage communication workflows and timelines
Collaborative working style
