As Marketing and Branding Executive at ABSS, you will own the public identity of the school end-to-end. You will be expected to think, strategise, and lead. You will have the creative freedom to shape how Alok Bharati is seen, the platform to run campaigns that actually move the needle, and direct access to leadership that most marketing professionals don’t get early in their careers. You will work across digital and physical channels, build systems that last, and grow alongside an institution that is genuinely invested in your development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain the visual and communication identity of ABSS (logo, colour, typography, tone of voice) ensuring consistent application across all touchpoints.
- Translate the school’s values and outcomes into a compelling brand narrative and review all outgoing communications to ensure they are on-brand.
- Study high-performing schools to identify effective communication practices and present quarterly recommendations to leadership on what ABSS should adopt or test.
- Own the content calendar, design all visual creatives, and write copy across social media, WhatsApp, website, and print.
- Capture and edit photo and video content from school events and maintain a structured media library for ongoing campaign use.
- Execute a platform-specific social media strategy and manage community engagement across all channels.
- Plan and run paid and organic campaigns tied to specific goals (admissions enquiries, events, seasonal visibility) with defined metrics and post-campaign review.
- Develop parent-facing communication templates and manage a year-round communication rhythm across WhatsApp, email, and the ABSS app.
- Lead admissions season marketing from awareness to conversion, including the prospectus, open day collateral, and all digital campaign assets.
- Own pre-event promotion and post-event content packaging for all major school occasions.
- Track marketing performance weekly, maintain a live dashboard for leadership, and prepare a concise monthly review with results and forward priorities.
- Support school operations on a need basis as directed by management.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field preferred)
- Expert-level proficiency in poster and graphic design using Canva, Adobe Express, or equivalent tools, with a portfolio that demonstrates quality and consistency
- Confident video editor: able to shoot, cut, and produce short-form content for social media independently, without relying on an external team
- Strong working knowledge of computer tools including Google Workspace, presentation software, and basic data tools for reporting
- Actively uses AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, or similar) to improve the speed and quality of content, copy, and creative work
- Strong written communication in Hindi and English, adaptable across parent, student, and community audiences
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and deliver without close supervision
- Prior experience in education, school, or institutional marketing
- Familiarity with paid social advertising on Meta or Google platforms
- Understanding of basic SEO and website content management
