Job details:
Nature Based Living is a commitment to the land and the people who inhabit it. We are looking for a Marketing & Brand Building Executive who views brand growth through the lens of ecology and stewardship. You will be the bridge between our sustainable practices and our community, acting as a curator of "place"—ensuring that every interaction with NBL feels grounded, purposeful, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ecological Stewardship & Value Advocacy
- Sustainability Storytelling: Translate NBL’s complex ecological initiatives (carbon neutrality, water conservation, circular packaging) into transparent, compelling narratives for the public.
- Impact Reporting: Use AI-driven data visualization to share real-time updates on our stewardship goals, making sustainability "visible" to the consumer.
- Value Alignment: Ensure every partnership and campaign aligns with our core values of environmental ethics and long-term resource guardianship.
2. Community Curation & "Sense of Place"
- Space Activation: Curate the atmosphere of NBL’s physical locations (taprooms, offices, or pop-ups) to ensure they serve as inclusive community hubs.
- Event Curation: Design and oversee "Community Tables" or workshops that focus on local ecology, craft, and shared values.
- Digital Neighbourhood Management: Foster a digital community that prioritizes meaningful dialogue over "engagement metrics," acting as a moderator and host rather than just a broadcaster.
3. AI as a Force for Good
- Ethical Content Creation: Use AI to generate hyper-local content that celebrates the specific ecology of the regions we serve.
- Hyper-Personalization: Implement AI tools to connect community members with local NBL initiatives or events that match their specific interests in sustainability.
- Resource Optimization: Leverage AI to audit our marketing supply chain, ensuring we minimize digital and physical waste in all promotional efforts.
Candidate Requirements
The Stewardship Mindset
- Environmental Literacy: A deep understanding of (or a passionate interest in) sustainability, regenerative practices, and the circular economy.
- Community Intuition: Experience in hospitality, community organizing, or "placemaking"—you know how to make a room (physical or digital) feel right.
- Ethical Communication: A refusal to "greenwash." You value radical transparency and have the backbone to ensure brand claims are backed by ecological facts.
The Modern Toolset (AI & Technical)
- AI for Research: Proficiency in using AI to research emerging ecological trends and local community needs.
- Eco-Visuals: Ability to use AI design tools to create "Biophilic" marketing assets—designs that honour and mimic natural forms.
- Systems Thinking: Ability to see the brand as an ecosystem where marketing, ecology, and community are interconnected.
Standard Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years in brand management
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present creative ideas to stakeholders.
- Project Management: Proven ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously under tight deadlines.
