Shree Laxmi Electricals & Consultants Pvt. Ltd. (SLECON) is an ISO 9001:2015 certified electrical contracting company founded in 1992, based in Navi Mumbai. We specialise in Design, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, and High Voltage electrical projects for Industries, Manufacturing Plants, and PMC/Consultant-driven projects across Maharashtra.
About the Role
SLECON is looking for a driven, presentable, and persistent Business Development Executive who will be the front face of SLECON for new client acquisition and quote conversion. This is a field-heavy role — you will be meeting clients, following up on quotes, and building relationships with Industries, Factories, Plants, PMC firms, and Electrical Consultants across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
This is not a desk job. If you are not comfortable making calls, visiting clients, and following up persistently — this role is not for you.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
· Identify and approach new prospects — Industries, Manufacturing Plants, PMC firms, Electrical Consultants
· Generate leads through cold calls, site visits, LinkedIn, referrals, and industry networking
· Maintain and grow a healthy pipeline of prospects at all times
· Represent SLECON professionally in client meetings — alone or with the Director
Quote Follow-Up & Conversion
· Track all submitted quotations and follow up systematically until a decision is received
· Understand basic scope of SLECON's services to handle first-level technical queries
· Coordinate with Director for technical clarifications during negotiations
· Ensure no quote goes cold due to lack of follow-up
Client Relationship Management
· Build long-term relationships with PMC firms, consultants, and plant/facility heads
· Keep SLECON on approved vendor lists of target clients
· Regularly visit existing clients for repeat business and referrals
Marketing Support
· Maintain SLECON's LinkedIn page — regular posts, project updates, company achievements
· Prepare PQ documents, company profiles, and presentations for client meetings
· Track industry events, tenders, and project announcements relevant to SLECON
Candidate Profile
Qualification: Any Graduate / BE / Diploma — Electrical preferred
Experience: 2 to 5 years in BD/Sales in Electrical, MEP, or Construction
Work Type: Full-time, Field + Office
Language: English, Hindi, Marathi — all three preferred
Appearance: Presentable — client-facing role
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹38,000 fixed + attractive performance incentives
Incentive: Project confirmation bonus + collection incentive + annual performance bonus
