Role Overview
The Marketing Associate will support the Content and Marketing teams at Rostrum.
This is an associate-level role focused on assisting with content research, blog support, proofreading, campaign coordination, and marketing operations. The role is best suited for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to education marketing and content workflows.
The associate will work under the guidance of the Content Team and report to a reporting manager within the department. This is not a content management or ownership role. The associate will primarily help with research, editing support, coordination, campaign execution, and assisting with blogs and marketing activities.
The role offers learning exposure across content support, digital marketing workflows, CRM tools, outreach initiatives, and campaign execution within the global education sector.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Campaign Support
- Assist with the execution of email campaigns, newsletters, and announcements
- Upload and schedule campaigns using tools such as Zoho Campaigns or similar platforms
- Support the maintenance and updating of CRM databases, campaign lists, and audience segments
- Help coordinate webinars, seminars, information sessions, and outreach activities
- Assist the marketing team in scheduling and distributing campaign content across platforms
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect content, assets, and campaign information
- Maintain basic tracking records for campaign engagement and outreach responses
- Help organise campaign workflows and marketing documentation
Content Research and Development
- Conduct research on topics related to university admissions, education trends, academic opportunities, and student journeys
- Support the Content Lead with research, drafting assistance, proofreading, and formatting for blogs and educational content
- Assist in reviewing content for clarity, accuracy, grammar, and formatting before publication
- Source references, statistics, examples, and supporting research material when required
- Identify images, visual references, and supporting assets for blogs, social media, and marketing materials
- Share topic ideas and research inputs during content planning discussions
Qualifications And Skills
- 1–2 years of experience in content, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Familiarity with CRM or email marketing tools such as Zoho, HubSpot, or Mailchimp is a plus
- Good writing, proofreading, and organisational skills
- Basic understanding of marketing campaigns and digital marketing workflows
- Strong attention to detail, especially in formatting and content accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines efficiently
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively within a team environment
