Job details:
This is not a "manage one channel" job. This is everything.
We're looking for someone at the very start of their marketing career who wants to learn the entire discipline by actually doing it brand, social, influencers, events, PR, partnerships, performance, community, on-ground activations. If you want a neatly defined lane, this isn't it. If you want to find out which part of marketing you're actually great at by trying all of them.
What You'll Do:
A bit of everything, genuinely. Including:
- Brand & campaigns: assist in planning and executing campaigns across launches, festivals, and cultural moments
- Social & content: support the content engine: ideas, shoots, captions, scheduling, community management
- Influencer & creator marketing: find creators who fit the Alienkind universe, manage outreach, briefs, and deliverables
- Partnerships & collabs: help identify and execute brand collaborations (think cafés × fashion × fitness × culture)
- Events & activations: plan and run on-ground events, pop-ups, and in-café experiences
- PR support: coordinate with our PR partners on press pitches, media visits, and founder interviews
- Performance & analytics: learn the basics of paid ads, track metrics across channels, build simple reports on what's working
- Whatever the week demands early-stage marketing means some weeks you're writing strategy, some weeks you're taping posters. Both matter.
What we're looking for:
- 0–1 years of experience — internships, college fests, personal projects, and side hustles all count
- Genuine curiosity about marketing as a whole — you follow brands, dissect ads, and have opinions about why things work
- Strong communication: you write clearly and aren't afraid to speak up
- Organised and reliable — you can juggle five threads without dropping any
- Bias for action: you'd rather ship a rough version today than a perfect one next month
- Comfortable with ambiguity — no playbook exists yet you'll help write it\
Bonus Points:
- You've run a college fest, club, or society
- You've built anything with an audience — a page, a newsletter, a community, a small business
- Basic design or editing chops (Canva, CapCut, Figma)
