Role Description The Marketing Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Vadodara Area. This role supports the marketing and sales team in promoting chemical products and solutions to existing and potential customers across various industrial sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with market research, preparing marketing materials and presentations, updating product and pricing information, and supporting the planning and execution of campaigns and customer outreach. The Marketing Assistant will help maintain customer databases, coordinate follow-ups with leads, and support the sales team with quotations, inquiries, and basic documentation. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent communication, timely responses to customer needs, and accurate reporting on marketing and sales activities.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Market Research capabilities to gather, analyze, and report on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Sales and Sales & Marketing skills to support lead generation, follow-up, and basic promotional activities.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Proficiency in common office software (e.g., MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn basic CRM or ERP tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in the Greater Vadodara Area.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or a related field preferred; relevant internships or experience in industrial or B2B sectors is an advantage.
- Interest in the chemicals or manufacturing industry and readiness to learn product and application knowledge.
